Hmmm... you're asking if it's a good idea to add a test and more logging to
find a problem... hmmm.... Nah, sounds like a stupid idea to me. ;-)
Personally I start each logentry with the message-id, that way when I find
that something's gone wrong I can just get that e-mails message-id and look it
up in the log; if that doesn't give any clues I can always get the e-mail from
the backup and rerun it again and again until I've tried-n-error:ed my way to
the problem.
