OK, I've been seeing this munging of the From line in messages a lot
recently (in fact, since I updated my recipes to use Spamassin 2.50 or
thereabout).
I'm quite sure these problems have to do with some error in a recipe
that I ma missing, but I am having a **** of a time tracking it down,
even with verbose logs. Part of that is the cheer volume of mail.
Does anyone have any methodoligies they've developed for tracking these
things down?
The only thing I can think of is creating a "checkfromrc"
:# Check for start of message being "From "
:0hf
* ! ^^From( )
| sed '1s/^r*om/From/'
and putting it as an includerc after every recipe, then insterting some
sort of header to indicate where in the recipe it failed.
good idea? bad idea?
I figure it's best to ask before embarking on a long trek down the
wrong path...
