From what you've posted, the original header is no longer a header but
part of the body. I would think you could, therefore, filter just the body
to recreate the original message except for the fact that the orginial
FROM_ field has been lost and needs to be regenerated. Formail can do the
latter.

should do it I think, although I an not 100% sure that the header will be
lost with the b flag when using the filter mechanism.
