I am extremely puzzled which spam/virus filter to use?
1) Procmail?
Procmail is not a spam/virus filter. It CAN be a spam/virus filter,
but that is not its primary use. It is, simply, a utility to process
mail. PROCess MAIL. PROCMAIL.
2) SpamAssassin (I know it only filters spam, and that is what I want)
Spamassassin till needs to be invoked, usually it by procmail. Some
people do have spamassassin invoked directly by the MTA, but I think
that's the minority.
3) MailScanner
Mail scanner too seems to be a respectable piece of software
(http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner)
I just want one piece of software to work with Linux RedHat &
Sendmail, any suggestions or advise?
why one? The most efficient solution seems to be to use procmail and
SA together.
