Because I call spammassassin directly and I wasn't aware of the
spamd options. =)

Yes, I just discovered it too and have been running it for a few days and
works great. I figured it had about the same OH as running formail each
time -- maybe less as it doesn't allow the email in to
procmail. But, I'm running:
sendmail-8.12p1 + spamass-milter
spamassassin-2.55
spamd -- daemon
procmail-3.22
A great combo of programs!
