Probably doing this wrong, cuz still using 8.8.8 :)
Have split incoming mail into pop server and incoming smtp server
smtp0.domain.com. Intent is to have many smtpx.domain.com servers
eventually feeding one or more independent pop servers. Don't have
milters yet :)
Incoming smtp server does virus and spam filtering, and then
goes to do a local delivery. However the /etc/procmailrc has a
! $LOGNAME pop.domain.com
When the e-mail gets over to the pop machine, the very first
From line has been changed from its original to
From root(_at_)smtp0(_dot_)domain(_dot_)com
Any way to avoid this? Does it really matter?
