Cool. That was me. ;^)
Just a little bit of rationale from a newbie to the procmail list:
* I didn't see any of the headers, since I am not subscribed yet.
* I used the link as identified on the website since that is where I
got the software.
* Although I did not have a compliation issue, having an email address
when one does a "procmail -v" will not help if one is unable to compile
procmail...

Does anyone from RWTH-Aachen.DE watch this list?
I can't say that of ANY of the messages I've sent to the listadmin, I've
ever actually received a reply.
(Ironically, his message actually dropped into my Procmail folder and not
the SunManagers folder --- looks like I have to fix my filters.)
Yup, perhaps not filtering on the SUBJECT would be a start.

List-Id: discussion of the procmail program <procmail.lists.RWTH-Aachen.DE>
The informatik host has not been part of this list for a couple of years or
so.
Of course, 'procmail -v' itself refers to
<procmail-users(_at_)procmail(_dot_)org>,
which has had continuity problems for over 18 months now, starting with an
unfortunate DNSBL listing:
<procmail-users(_at_)procmail(_dot_)org>
(reason: 553 5.3.0
<procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de>... Open spam
relay - see http://www.orbz.org/)
The address used to simply forward to the list at rwth-aachen.de, but in
December 2001, the host for the procmail.org MX was DNSBL'd (IIRC, there
was a system failure, and when it was restored, some configurations weren't
brought current, and as a result, it was open to relaying).
Subsequently - and, AFAIK, to this day - the procmail.org reflector is
pointing at the informatik address, which of course bounces. I've tried to
point this out to Stephen, but nothing's been done. Last time I checked
was February of this year, which resulted in the following:
<procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de>
(reason: 550 5.1.1 unknown or illegal alias:
procmail(_at_)informatik(_dot_)rwth-aachen(_dot_)de)
