I got a few people telling me I should change from sendmail to qmail
because qmail doesn't fork a child for every mail, and is MUCH MUCH MUCH
more efficient in its ability to handle excessive numbers of incoming

In a nutshell, both Brian and I think that the choice is between
Qmail and Postfix and that Qmail is probably better but it has a
bizarre license and can be a pain to upgrade. I recommend that
you read Brian's comment!
