It can't be that reliable? Just checking through my directory which has
mails of well over 100 different lists stored (never more than 1 list
per file), and only 37 files contain an ^X-BeenThere at all. It's a
possible criteria though.
I thought you were talking specifically about the procmail list.
This looks like another one of those non-straightforward problems :(

Yes, I have a working model but have been way too busy to do
anything with it. Maybe in a few days.
