er, that (7) bit is meaningless to procmail (and doesn't match the syntax
for a standard grep count operatior either).
Now I accept that it does not work with procmail becuase the procmail
experts say this. But I have tested the above with `egrep'
(or `grep -E'). Would you please provide me with a counter example
that I can test it with `egrep' on my system.
Finally one question: Basically, how can I test a regular expression
with procmail? A simple recipe please if possible. I am a beginner
