FWIW, i use procmail with sendmail on a relay-only host with a setup
based on this:

  http://www.professional.org/procmail/mailer.html

(Which, if i'm not mistaken, is Sean's site.) It's been working great
for years, with the main downsides being:

   1. Extra hops make tracing messages more difficult
   2. Messages with multiple recipients are split into multiple messages
   3. Slightly tricky to set up

Althought it's been working very well, i am in the process of replacing
it with a mimedefang milter-based setup, which should clear up the
downsides in many cases. I love procmail though, so i'm going to
try really hard to find a way to use it in the new setup, somehow. :)
