Despite protestations to the contrary, I strongly suspect a quota
issue. (Which would have nothing to do with procmail.)
Fifty MB is also a standard quota cap with some MTAs -- which
can be raised by jiggering a setting.

What I did was mv INBOX INBOX.old and sent myself another
mail. This time it got thru to INBOX with this in the
procmail.log:
As I said, quota stuff.
