On linking /usr/bin/true to $HOME/bin, an running this recipe
as a test,
:0
* ? $HOME/bin/true
{ foo }
I get:
procmail: Executing "/net/u/1/d/dman/bin/true"
procmail: Match on "/net/u/1/d/dman/bin/true"
procmail: Assigning "foo"
Interesting, procmail does env. var. substitutions before
searching for an executable, when evaluating the "?"
expression? I had thought by explicitly adding the "$" that
I was helping to avoid a shell execution, but it seems that
procmail was ahead of me on this.
