As stated in my first post, I can only think of a few times
that legit mail was put into the spam temp holding mailbox.
The virus scanners tend to falsely catch more mail (about
one a month) than SA.
I'm with Mr. Duck on this.... I find SA very good at discriminating
between spam/not spam... however, I would still never recommend sending
mail to /dev/null to someone setting up their first/initial spam recipes.
I've thought of going back and tweaking my own recipes to use
/dev/null... and I do use that for other specific filters, but I just
haven't had the need to do it for the SA stuff: I send spam to trash,
trash is auto-deleted a few days later...
Works fine for me... YMMV.
