I am attempting to set up 'fetchmail' to directly use 'procmail' as its MDA. I
Googled about, and found a few suggestions. This is one of the suggestions
for configuring the 'fetchmail' utility. I would add the following to
the 'fetchmailrc' file.
mda "/usr/bin/procmail -d $s"
I understand what the '-d' is for, but what is the '$s' required for?
There are some twenty users that will be having mail delivered to them via
this setup. I presently have procmail activated from the 'sendmail.mc' file
with this:
FEATURE(`local_procmail')
However, I would rather bypass sendmail entirely if possible.
Perhaps someone else who is doing something like this could give me some
assistance. I do not want to implement it until I am sure it will work.
Ciao
