OK this is what my directories look like:
/home/user # home directory for the account
/home/user/mail # main default/catch-all mailbox for the account
/home/user/mail/cur
/home/user/mail/new
/home/user/mail/tmp
/home/user/mail/domain.com
/home/user/mail/domain.com/jim # target mailbox (jim(_at_)domain(_dot_)com)
/home/user/mail/domain.com/jim/cur
/home/user/mail/domain.com/jim/new # where new 'jim' mail should go
/home/user/mail/domain.com/jim/tmp

Any ideas?
ls -ld /home/user/mail/domain.com/jim
ls -ld /home/user/mail/domain.com
ls -ld /home/user/mail
ls -ld /home/user
And ... what user was this for again?
'user', or 'jim'?
Sometimes ... you really should just stop munging things, and be
brutally explicit.
I'm just sayin'.
Aloha mai Nai`a!
