missing F from From still an issue?

Hello,

I've seen such recipies:

  LOG="*** Dropped F off From_ header! Fixing up. "

}

floating around for some time now; is it still necessary? I'd imagine
after almost six years since last release such a bug would at least
justify another release, or at least a patch? Anything on the horizon?
