Hello,

I have added the standard duplicate-elimination recipe from procmailex
to my rc file (using maildir):

:0 Whc: msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 msgid.cache
:0 a:
.duplicates/

I have noticed that it flags as duplicates many messages which aren't
duplicate at all, but often belonging to several recurring categories:
mailman notification for some lists I manage, Centos security
advisories, most messages from the Dovecot mailing list are the most
common. What can it be, why, and how to fix it?

Does the case of the Message-id header count (sometimes it's
Message-ID, others it's Message-id etc...)?

I have done some more observation on this, and I can confirm that the
recipe out of the formail man page systematically fails (at least) on
almost all messages of the dovecot, drupal and fetchmail mailing
lists, on the cron messages from some servers I manage and on the
Mailman notifications of every mailing list I run. Any suggestion?

TIA,
        Marco
