burst of emails and first-in first-out processing

Hello,

When multiple emails are sent back to back (say as few as 5) in a burst,procmail does not process them in order: the processing is interleaved.However, they do show up in the correct order in the mailbox. Why isprocmail interleaving the processing? Is there one procmail fork per emailmessage? How do I prevent that and force first-in first-out processing?
