I don't know if this was posted here or not, or if anyone is already
aware, but LiveJournal has a reference to SPF on their front page
(www.livejournal.com - news section near the bottom) due to a virus
joe-jobbing their administrative addresses. I don't believe they handle
a large volume of mail, however they do have a VERY large audience.
Also the thing AT&T pulled off recently, requiring all their customers to
provide IP addresses of their outgoing mail servers. Mail gets bounced
otherwise. There's an article on slashdot, which I guess many of you have
read anyway: http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=03/10/22/0130216
We have many customers using AT$T broadband connections but they have
their mail through us. We just called AT&T and they have a message
stating that they have been receiving an inordinate amount of spam and
phone calls since their email request. They mention that they were
premature with that email and then it hangs up.
1-800-456-4230 option 4 Just FYI....
