Most MTAs have triple bounce detection (and loop prevention otherwise). I'm
sure there are ways to break it, but RFCs generally don't endlessly deal
with "what if"s caused by not following the RFC.

SMTP+SPF will change bounce or 550 conditions, but the actual format of
those falls outside the scope of SPF. Likewise, I'd probably look for a
smtpd (patch) which doesn't implement the description because I don't need
third-party definitions of error messages in my servers. I'd prefer it if
the recommended use of that field would be to add a Received-SPF-Info
header.
