If I was out to screw folk here I would not have made the disclosure.

Some snot is going to watch the discussions here and apply for a patent.

Th uspto does not always check previously issued patents but it is the best
assurance we can have.

People filled racks of patents claiming inventions I and others had in the
web specs.

Assuming that the Patent Office will hand out a patent to anyone who asks
for them, it's better to have a good guy holding a patent than a bad guy.
