Re: macro expansion syntax

I'm a little unclear on macros still. Where is it being done? If it the 
DNS server's job?

Current-domain is explained in section 2.2.1 Terms.

Basically, it is the envelope-domain until processing enters an
include: or redirect: mechanism.  At that point, the current-domain
gets replaced with the domain of the include/redirect.
