Feel free to use altavista.com for testing... it has a healthy set of mechanisms and macros. The downside is that all mail is blocked, so it doesn't allow for testing the successful case.

If you do spoof messages from altavista.com in order to test, put "spftest" somewhere in the mail from. I track the queries that come in using the "exists:" mechanism, and sometimes (though rarely) report the forgeries to the appropriate ISP, but I don't report any "abuse" that is obviously a test message.
