This is the release candidate for what'll go into the Internet-Draft
archive.
Please take a look at it and tell me if you spot any problems.
I would add the word "mechanism" before "processing" in section 3.2 "SPF
Directive Evaluation",
So:
| If it matches, processing ends and the prefix value is returned as
| the result of that record. (The default prefix value is "+".)
becomes:
| If it matches, mechanism processing ends and the prefix value
| is returned as the result of that record. (The default prefix
| value is "+".)
Otherwise there's a conflict with the modifier definitions, as
"processing ends" would imply that an exp or redirect modifier
wouldn't be processed if it occurred after the matching mechanism.
I don't think there's a conflict inherit in the following though:
| If it throws an exception, processing ends and the exception value is
| returned (either "error" indicating a temporary failure, usually
| DNS-related, or "unknown" indicating a syntax error or other
| permanent failure resulting in incomplete processing.)
