I'm planning on putting SPF records in my DNS, but I have a couple of
questions that I'm hoping someone can answer first.
First, due to a shortage of public IP addresses, both my primary mail
server and my primary DNS server share the same public IP address. I'm
a little worried that SPF aware MTAs will do a reverse lookup on my mail
server's address and get my name server's name in response and refuse
the mail based on that.
On a related note, my ISP has all of my inaddr-arpa records set up as
CNAMEs to generic names at my domain which are PTRs to the actual
names. Is there any chance that this will mess anything up?
