occasional timeout with SPF

Every once in a while I get this error in my maillog:
May 19 16:53:02 varmint postfix/spawn[2256]: warning: /usr/bin/perl: process id 2257: command time limit exceeded
It doesn't seem to cause a catastrophe but I was wondering if there was something I needed to configure or something I needed to "fix"?
