I'm just a little confused on how stuff works.
the way I'm setup is that I have 3 mail servers. 1 primary and 2 backups..
these servers have reverse dns records that point to my provider not me
(not by choice)
and they host mail for about 6 domains.
None of my users (with the exception of me who is behind the firewall and
my webmail users, which emails are based from the server itself) send mail
from my servers.. They all send mail from they're respective isp's. They
just use me to get they're mail
So if I have things right I would in theory add my servers to the spf list
by mx or ip or whatever and add
in the includes: section any isp that my users use to send mail on behalf
of the domains I host for them ?
also in this case is SASL really necessary for me ?
Am I completely off base or am I smoking some good wacky tabacky ?
