Re: problem when outbound and dest is the same mahine

Arrrghh, I mean SPAMASSASSIN, sorry, NOT spamcop.

Those of us running SPAMASSASSIN locally still have SPF failures on
inbound mail coming via our SASL/TSL inbound and then terminating in
a local account....

We're finding that when we use our corporate mailhub for outbound (postfix
and SASL/TLS) smtp from our home DSL lines, anyone who is using spamcop
locally with SPF turned on is getting an SPF_SOFTFAIL (because of our
record ending in ~all) and an SPF_HELO_FAIL.

In other words, if we were sending outbound mail from @easydns.com THRU
our hub it would work fine for mail forwarded onto external hubs, but
for mail terminating at local accounts on the server, its failing the
SPF lookup (because its coming off the remote node on the end of a DSL
line).

How do we workaround this without adding the DSL provider's IPs to our
SPF data?

Is this an issue with spamcop's implementation of SPF, or
Mail::SPF::Query?
