Further to the ClientDNS program that I made available previously, a bug
has been discovered that will not allow the program to separate the default
DNS servers in Win XP (and possibly 2000) when more than one DNS server is
stored in the registry for the interface detected. If the comma separated
DNS servers are attempted to be used, a Winsock Error 10014 results
(basically any improperly formated IP address will result in a Winsock Error).
The code has been modified to use only the first listed DNS, and is
available from:
ftp://server2.yellowhead.com/utility/ClientDNSld.exe or ClientDNS.zip
as well as just the executable file.
