That's really not so bad. Anyone who wants to use SPF classic will
publish a record with v=spf1. Most people have already done that and
there are several free, unencumbered, open software solutions for them
to chose from. Anyone who wants to use PRA/SUBMITTER, yes, that means
both of you, will publish a record with v=marid1, and don't forget to
apply for your Microsoft license if you want to touch the code. I think
choice is an excellent thing.

I would love to hear from a Microsoft Developer without a Microsoft gun
to his head about how much he LOVES the Microsoft Marketing Machine. I
could not think of a more irritating situation then to have a retarded
sibling insist on unintelligent and counterproductive stipulations to
everything I may be interested in doing.

SenderID is 90% SPF and 10% MS, yet somehow its smelling like 80% shyte,
even after being rid of the world's most preposterous notion...

Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a
bloated markup language and place it in DNS, choose ridiculous names for
protocols, programs, and algorithms. Choose a license. Choose to be
bent over a lorry and !(_at_)#_$! six ways from Sunday after you implement a
proprietary technology who's purveyor insisted it wouldn't uphold
patents on. Choose to disregard RFC's in favour of getting what you
want. Choose to hijack popular open-source movement as your own
personal anti-spam vehicle because no one wants your crappy anti-spam
idea that sounds like George Bush Jr. named it, choose to outfit it with
dDoS mechanisms and buffer overflows. Choose to copy Yahoo! with a
keyed domains proposal because even though you have more money then god
they won't sell to you. Choose to ignorantly release a license with
more hidden agenda's then the Whitehouse, choose to misrepresent the
truth to the masses in such a way as to appear as if you really care
when in reality if there wasn't power or money involved you would be
elsewhere.

Choose to say no to Software Patents.

Choose Open Source.

I choose Open Source.

Cheers,

James
