Yes, it's obviously not nice to use TXT. But the spam related
problems are more pressing than being nice. And waiting for
the FUSSP in the form of the death of SMTP is no option.
I don't want to step on the SPF authors/editors toes but I
would be happy to piggy back an SPF RR request on top of my
own RR request. I will be at the November IETF meeting and
could easily discuss the RR issues in the DNS WG.
I can only hope that Meng and Mark have seen your kind offer.
