his domain. If PRA and SPF always gave the same result for a
given SPF record there would be no
problem. But the PRA does NOT give the same result always,
hence could describe a different
behaviour then the publisher of an SPF record intended for his emails.
This is absolutely irrelevant.
There is nothing the publisher can do that affects the
circumstances in which there is a difference. The difference
between the PRA is due entirely to what happens DOWNSTREAM
after the message is sent.
All SPF can do is to describe the edge server IP addresses
and some additional accreditation information.
It is useful for the authors of email FORWARDERS to know
what algorithms might be used to analyze the SPF data but
not for senders.
