this problem as FUD, because most of the arguments against SPF seemed like
hysterical rants. Again, however, the comparison is only against worst-
case SPF.
while certainly not focusing on "best" case, the criticisms of SPF do not
emphasize "worst" case. Certainly it is important to understand limits, both
high and low. Absent extensive statistics, it is not possible to talk about
"typical". So some guessing is required.
In any event, the reason that I posted to this thread was strictly due to
(finally) seeing SPF proponents starting to address the clear potential for
high DNS load from using SPF.
