My question to you fine folks is:

1. What sort of data would be most useful? For privacy reasons I
cannot release the raw data showing who is emailing whom, but whatever
calculations I can perform on the raw data to get summary numbers, I
want to report if I can.

Greg:

Check out the questions the FTC is asking about:

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2005/06/fyi0545.htm
https://secure.commentworks.com/FTC-EmailAuthenticationQuestionnaire/

The more data you can provide to answer these questions, the better.

2. Is there already a script, executable, or other test harness that I
can feed large amount of data into and have it do the SPF lookup and
report the result?

Several SPF implementations have something along the lines of an
"spfquery" program that will let you do this kind of checking. (The
Perl Mail::SPF::Query program does, as does libspf2. libspf used to,
but I think it was renamed.)

3. Would this data be useful to people?

Yes.
