There -> *NEVER* <- was a spec, SPF nor SenderID, that used
"v=spf2.0".  It has always been either "v=spf1" or "spf2.0".

That said, for a very long time, the MS SenderID wizard created broken
SPF records, and one of several things they did wrong was to use the
"v=spf2.0" version string.  (Other things include using a: for IP
addresses and putting invalid characters into the record.)  For some
reason, GoDaddy's SPF wizard has almost exactly the same set of bugs
as the MS wizard used to have.  GoDaddy is aware of these bugs, but to
the best of my knoweldge, they have not been fixed yet.
