Yes, but end users won't bother to do that before responding to a
phishing email. The Return-Path or Sender or *something* needs to
be in the default display, where they will see it without doing
anything.
Thunderbird default header display is From: ReplyTo: and To:. But anyone savvy enough to
use thunderbird will probably be aware of some of these issues. I don't know what the
default header display is on OE or lookout
