?!?  David was talking with a DNS service provider (or rather
a start-up in a very early stage).  It's IMO perfectly okay to
support SRV records and other record types up to to the new SPF
type 99.  SRV is not only used for CSV.

Ooops!  I was thinking CSV/CSA as a protocol, which is not a DNS issue.  So
you're right and I take that statement back.  For a DNS provider, it's
probably to their advantage to support as many record types as possible for
competitive reasons.  A good DNS provider should be authentication protocol
agnostic, so their customers can change authentication protocols without
changing DNS providers.
