That's a dubious idea, it would end with unnecessary flamewars.
Besides A. already did / tried it. It's as John L. said, we
have made up our mind that "traditional forwarding" is wrong.
Others think it's cute and support more expensive solutions,
bypassing this issue with post-DATA crypto (DKIM + SSP).
John is convinced that forwarders won't upgrade. From that
POV it's logical that he can't support SPF MAIL FROM FAIL.
He could still do something with SPF HELO and SPF PASS, some
ersatz-CSV as base for reputation / white lists maybe. Bye
