Hi John, Nick, and Frank,
you have either been nominated as election officer for the 2006 SPF Council
elections[1], or have suggested yourself that you might be willing to act
as such.
Would you be willing to do the job? It would require you to oversee the
voter registration on the SPF website, conduct the voting itself on the
CIVS[2] website, and certify the results. In total this should not take
longer than one hour. Your first duty would be to input the list of
spf-discuss subscribers to the voter registration control[1] in about 24-36
hours.
Of course, for those among you who have been nominated as council candidate,
taking on this job would preclude you from accepting that nomination. The
sitting council is going to select an election officer in about 16 hours.
