I would certainly have more faith in a profiler than in my statements.
Just to clarify: when referring to rumors, I did *not* refer to your
statements. Instead, I explained where I got the not-so-correct ideas
about bottlenecks, which were mostly *corrected* by you, and could
become even more relevant to my specific situation (this specific XSLT
with this specific XSLT processor) when formulated by a profiler.
