2003-07-03 05:37:12
opps something funny happened with browser email

should read

 <img  src="display.php?image={translate($myvar,'&#32;&#13;&#9;&#10;','')}"
text="foo" alt="foo"/>

gl, jim

Space &#32; (hexadecimal &#x20;)
Carriage return &#13; (&#xD;)
Tab &#9; (&#x9;)
Line feed (newline) &#10; (&#xA;)

so try this
<img
src="display.php?image={translate($myvar,'&#32;&#13;&#9;&#10;
'.'')}" text="foo" alt="foo"/>

gl, jim fuller

Subject: Re: [xsl] url query works with mozilla; not IE

I have tried most of the suggestions, but still have
the problem of the url query being cut off in
internet explorer.

Since apparently it is a whitespace problem,
translate() should correct it. I have used what
is suggested below and it didn't work. Is there
a way to accurately detect which whitespace characters(types?)
are responsible and incorporating them in translate()?
How would I do this?

note u may have to supply more replacement whitespace types
for translate.
