Re: simple question: <fo: and parse "&"

Well,

The story is as follows:
I get the xml file from a friend and he also made a java system (.ja)r That is 
the
processor. 

My only job is to make a little xsl-fo file based on a (simple) design he gave 
me.
Just a page with a header table and footer.


And yes, the fo file is not generated when i use &amp; 
When just using "and" without the quotes the fo file is generated.

No doesn't work. trying to get my hands on this subject.

&amp; is just an & as character data and can be used anywhere character
data is allowed, if it is failing on your system it sounds like a bug.
Are you sure that &amp; is really being entered in the file, not being
masked by some buggy "xml aware" inut system.

Where exactly is the problem, the fO file is not generated or the FO is
generated but your FO system does not render it?
