RE: [xsl] What is a better word for "de-duplication"?

2006-08-28 01:23:48
The word "deduplication" to mean "removing duplicates", though it doesn't
appear to have found its way into the dictionary, is widely used and readily
understood: I'm sure I've seen it used in relation to office filing systems
as well as computer systems. I use much uglier words every day. (Like
"uglier", for example).

Subject: [xsl] What is a better word for "de-duplication"?

I want to use a single, short word to express the act of
removing duplicates from a node-set. I remember seing the
word "de-duplication"
used, however it sounds ugly.

Could someone suggest a better word, please?
