ah, I didn't spot that, sorry.
However, XSLT already gets into trouble (well, Saxon does)
better move to saxon list then. Note that Michael's commmented
previously that the implementation of regex in saxon depends greatly on
which system it is running on (.net java 1.4 or java 1.5)
