RE: [xsl] XSLT Programmer's Reference 4th Edition

2008-05-05 08:42:26

Mine arrived from Amazon last Friday. I've had time to study only a few
sections, and I must say I'm extremely pleased. The hardcover format
and excellent binding mean it will lay flat and stay open where you want
it to. All the layout problems of the previous edition have been fixed,
and I particularly like the bleed tabs that make it easy to thumb to a
particular chapter.

In the content, the level of detail, completeness, rigor and clarity of
exposition, are well above the previous editions. I think this is
destined to become *the* programmer's Bible for XSLT and XPath.

Five stars -- Thank you Dr. Kay!
