Who would actually search for the term "xml stylesheet"? This is a
meaningless comparison.
Searching for the string "<?xml-stylesheet" will give you a better feel
for its usage on the Internet >

Also, keep in mind that using a PI-based transformation is much more
common to Intranets due to the fact that its usage fits nicely with
documentation, something you find far more often internally than you do
externally.
