Thanks Michel,
That was my thought. I think the idea is similar to blog setup whereby, you get
the choice to take a standard L&F or bespoke via the via and simple CSS.
So find a web tool that allows users to set simple CSS properties that will
then pushed to a file that can be imported into the XSL as the include. It's
the fall back to default I am not sure how to switch to.
Is there a way to say check if file exists, if so, use the
xxxvariables/attributes otherwise use these, bearing in mind the file may
contain only one entry.

Most that can't won't. If there is a way to reset to a default style, it should
not be much of a problem. Also depends on who you r endusers are. They might
hire someone to do the job;-)

Hi All,
We have an application that allows the users to create output documents after
processing orders/contracts etc.
Currently we use XSL:FO (Xalan) to create PDFs.
For each customer we edit and maintain a set of style sheets, to bespoke the
design.
To give the power back to the end user, what are the thoughts of allowing
none developers to edit CSS files and include them in the XSL?
We should have the base XSL files, with CSS included - I guess using
attribute-sets.
Regards
Chris
