Re: [xsl] What's the best feature in XSLT 3?

2019-10-03 15:03:11
Hi,

My list so far:

Functions including one of my favorites, fn:transform()
Operators including ! and =>
Map and array datatypes
xsl:mode
xsl:iterate
JSON I/O support
Text value templates
Streaming
Packaging

I’ve used all of them except packaging. (Like John Lumley: Real Soon Now.)

Some features of these are only nice-to-haves, such as text value templates and
xsl:mode/@on-no-match. Or real-nice-to-haves, if you like.

Cheers, Wendell

What do you find most useful? Or like the best?
