I support the ban of attachments in IETF emails.
On the other hand, one feature that would be very useful is to add in the
email footer a link to the archive in each email forwarded by mailman (mailman
does not support that currently), so referencing a past email in a discussion
does not require having to search the archive. For example the previous email
should contain a link for
https://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ietf/current/msg72476.html.
